Hi,

Thank you for stopping by. We’d like to take a moment to introduce you to our two legged family before you meet the rest of us. We’re the Adams. We moved out to our 20 acre hobby farm almost four years ago. Our goal was simple; to raise our children in a Godly fashion in a safe environment. We quickly realized that to make this picture complete, we needed a dog. With children still in diapers and a social home setting, an aggressive, one-man fighting machine was not the answer. Neither was old fluffy who would attempt to lick a threat while they‘re making their way into our home. For those of you who already know the English Mastiff, it will be of no surprise our delight when we found our match. Finally a dog who is both trustworthy and protective.

In fact, what we gained was a friend. Adams Ranch Katie came home when I was 8 months pregnant carrying a toddler. Although she attended basic obedience training, I did most of the teaching. She intuitively knew that I was an expectant mama, softly nuzzling my belly while blocking any perceived threat. Further, she knew who belonged in our family from the toddler yanking rawhide bones out of her mouth to the poodle stray, barn cats, chickens and donkeys that encompass the rest of our little farm. Katie is patient, supremely intelligent and exceptionally loyal. She enjoys our close friends and extended family, tolerates acquaintances and lets any perceived intruders know that she is watching their every move. We trust Katie’s judgment in most any situation. Our children are rarely left with a human babysitter. I am pleased when they go outside to play with Katie. Mastiffs are known for their even temper, loyalty and intelligence. If you can tolerate shedding, slobber and the need for lots of love and are capable of giving true friendship, we have no doubt this breed is for you.

Puppy pictures will be available as soon as they are born.
